Social media! Gotta love it! We are quite connected on the social media scene and we are constantly connecting with other photographers, businesses and individuals. One of our Twitter friends, Trudy Hamilton of Tru Shots Photography, and fellow photographer often does peer interviews of fellow women photographers. Well, guess what? We had the great pleasure of being interviewed and you can check it out on Trudy’s blog. Trudy is definitely a great person to get to know and connect with and she is also very active in the social media community. Get to know her!!

This post is weeeeeell over due! I thought that I would take a moment and update you on what I’ve been up to. Today I am actually working from bed-catching up on emails, making phone calls, updating the blog and editing photos from the comfort of my very own bed. I  just needed a break and didn’t want to get into too much today. But, I have everything that I need to get my work done handy!

A bit about what I’ve been up to…I went to Cincinnati (my hometown) to visit my friends and family whom I haven’t seen in a while. While there I had the opportunity to do some really fun shoots (I hope to post those soon). As soon as I got back from Ohio I went to my church’s pre-teen summer camp and I had such a great time. This was my third year helping out. This year I was one of the official photographers and I created a newsletter for the campers to leave with! So cool! The campers were especially excited to take it home with them so that they could remember all of the new friends that they made. Since then, I’ve had family come to visit and spend time with me and Clyde (my husband) and I also began working on a great project with the Houston Arts Alliance that I feel is coming along really well. I’ve been slowly working my way through my 101 in 1,001 list and will have updates for that coming soon also! See, I haven’t been a total slacker! :o) Stay tuned!!!
