I’ve decided to create a list of 101 goals to accomplish in 1001 days. After reading countless blogs and seeing that many people were participating in this new phenomenon, I decided that I would jump on the band wagon and create a list of my own. I’m actually pretty excited and can hardly wait to see how things will unfold. There’s something wonderful about determining to accomplish a goal and watching how things just always seem to come together to help you to do so! Throughout this project I will do my best to blog about my progress and to keep you updated. I would like to encourage you to come up with your own list and share it with me. Post a link to your list in the comments section! CLICK HERE to see my progress (click on any of the finished goals to read a post about them)!

The Challenge:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on your part).

Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past – frequently simple challenges such as New Year’s resolutions or a ‘Bucket List’. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips, study semesters, or outdoor activities.
