Debra, I know you’re in Houston and I don’t know how far Austin is from you but I thought this might be of interest to you.
I want to let you know of an amazing opportunity for wedding and portrait photographers in Texas to learn how to break into and succeed in commercial photography.
I have started the Light and Commerce Photography Workshop. This one day workshop teaches BOTH the technical and business side of commercial photography. You will learn everything needed to produce and pull off a commercial photo shoot.
If you’ve ever wanted to expand your photography career from the world of wedding and portraits into the world of advertising, music, editorial and other commercial markets this workshop is for you!
There are thousands and thousands of potential commercial clients that need competent photographers. But they will only hire those who know how to approach and execute commercial work. Learn how to approach, pre-produce, shoot and deliver the jobs that pay way beyond studio portraits and weddings.
Some of the clients that I shoot for include: ESPN, EMI Music, Hilton Hotels, Fender, HCA, Paramount, etc.
I am holding this event in Austin on May 18.
